Rumpke has just opened a new state-of-the-art recycling & resource center in central Ohio and COCHMM, along with ASSP, were invited to tour the facility.
September 20, 2019: City of Columbus Com-Til Compost Facility Tour
The Central Ohio Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers hosted an environmental health and safety facility tour at the City of Columbus' Com-Til Composting Facility, on Friday, September 20, 2019.
The tour included a presentation on the City of Columbus' Com-Til composting process, compliance requirements as well as a tour of the facility itself. Com-Til is a biosolids nutrient-rich composted mulch.
