Please join Central Ohio Hazardous Materials Managers for a breakfast meeting on February 20th. A speaker from Ohio EPA will be updating us on their planned adoption of the Federal Hazardous Waste Generator Improvement Rule and other timely hazardous waste topics.

September 20, 2019 City of Columbus Com-Til Compost Facility Tour
The Central Ohio Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers hosted an environmental health and safety facility tour at the City of Columbus' Com-Til Composting Facility, on Friday, September 20, 2019.
The tour included a presentation on the City of Columbus' Com-Til composting process, compliance requirements as well as a tour of the facility itself. Com-Til is a biosolids nutrient-rich composted mulch.

City of Columbus Compost Facility Tour
The Central Ohio Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers is hosting an environmental health and safety facility tour at the City of Columbus Compost Facility, on Friday, September 20, 2019. The tour will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately two hours. Please arrive about 15 minutes early.
Please RSVP if you plan on joining us for the event.
We will begin by viewing a video on the composting process before walking around the site. Safety vests will be provided but everyone should wear comfortable clothes and boots, with a change of shoes just in case
